So, here's the scoop:
We, the friends of Sheri and Dennis, are having a ZOOM-A-Thon on Wednesday, May 31st at 7:00PM to raise money. Sheri’s medical situation since June 2022 has not allowed her to be released by her doctors to return to teaching, the work she loves. Multiple sclerosis, breast cancer, liver & kidney disease and diabetes have left her wheelchair bound and immuno-compromised.
Disability started in November but is not enough to cover expenses, which must include medical insurance. Dennis & Sheri have been trying to hold it all together but are seriously struggling financially, including behind on the mortgage which is terrifying. The possibility of foreclosure is very real.
1. BYOS - "Bring Your Own Snacks"! Bring whatever you want to eat and drink, but there's no need to pack it in travel containers, cause you will be eating and drinking in your home, in front of your computer, with the other online party animals.
2. Games - We will be playing a few fun games; i.e. Trivia, Name That Tune-TV, Scavenger Hunt and BINGO. (There will be PRIZES!!)
3. Entertainment - Performances by Jay Bernedo Band, Samoan Fireknife Dancer: Michael Heremana and you will also witness our host, Stephan, as he does a few Mind-Blowing, Jaw-Dropping, Interactive Mental Effects that some believe, can only be done with a trick camera. One effect, all guests will be able to participate together.
4. Fee - This is a FREE event. Throughout the night, you will be able to make donations; however, donations are not required to participate. One of the goals for this event is to share love and fun as we raise the spirits of our dear friends. And if we can raise a little money in the process, well, hey! So, please invite at least two additional friends; the more the merrier.

5. Time & Location - We will need all guests on their computers in the online party room by 7:00PM EST sharp!
(For added security, when you log into the party, you will be placed in the "Waiting Room" until permission is granted to enter the party room. Directions on how to download Zoom will be provided once you click the link. If possible, use a laptop or desktop computer to receive the best ZOOM experience! Be sure to use your real Name so Sheri & Dennis will know that you are in the party room.)
